Happy New Year! Welcome to 2017 and 2nd semester! I’d like to thank all of you and your families for a wonderful 1st semester. It was a pleasure to see our students succeed at school and grow in their academic skills.
To our Valley View students, I’d like to encourage each of you to come to school every day. While you’re at school, please work hard on your courses to remediate credits in order to either return to your home school or graduate from Valley View.
Ask your teachers for help. We understand that asking for help is not something that comes naturally, but I encourage you to reach out to your teachers, counselor, administrators and staff. Remember that everyone is there to help you!
To our students at Community Day School, your attendance at school is also an important ingredient in your school success. I’d like to encourage you to make arrangements to fulfill any requirements that you might have. Also, please work hard to keep up with your course work and stay on track to graduate.
Let’s make this semester one for the record books, both with attendance and progress towards graduation! That sounds like an excellent New Year’s resolution that each of you can conquer!

Students will face a judge who may impose a fine, community service, and/or counseling classes. These penalties are in addition to whatever disciplinary consequences are imposed by the Valley View school administration. Behaviors that can result in a citation are:
Operation Clean Sweep is a multifaceted program that seeks to enhance the security of all students in school while, at the same time, establishing responsibility, discipline, and accountability in respect to student’s actions.
